In 2004, a young woman named Stephanie Smith fulfilled her dream of seeing her team play at Old Trafford after a battle with cancer. The experience became one of the brightest moments of her life before losing her battle with cancer. Now, her friends have launched For Steph’s Sake, a charitable initiative that each year sends a football fan who’s faced serious illness to watch Liverpool Football Club play in England.
